Focused Property Inspections | Southern & Coastal Maine

Focused Property Inspections (FPI) is expanding across Maine and building the next generation of inspectors the right way. We are hiring for our Paid Training Program, a structured, professional path into the home inspection field.

Maine does not require state licensure for home inspectors. We treat that as a floor, not a standard. FPI adheres to nationally recognized training and certification programs and trains inspectors to operate at a level expected in regulated markets.

No prior inspection experience required. We pay you to train, work alongside experienced inspectors, and learn the profession from the ground up. This is not a shortcut program. It is a disciplined pipeline into a trusted, client-facing role.

What You’ll Learn
  • Residential structures and systems: roofing, foundations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more
  • Field inspection methods grounded in real-world conditions
  • Professional reporting, client communication, and agent-facing professionalism
  • Hands-on experience across Southern and Coastal Maine markets
Ideal Candidate
  • Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently, outdoors, and in occupied homes
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
